How the funds are used

  • TRAVEL SUPPORT

The work of partnership is travel-intensive. We anticipate needing to be in Ethiopia a minimum of 2 times a year.

  • ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Our family sheep business is one of many community economic projects we hope to grow.

  • FARM-TO-SCHOOL MODEL

We hope to renovate the local elementary school, in addition to developing a farm on the property that will daily feed the children their lunch.

  • BASIC MEDICAL SUPPORT

It’s not uncommon for people to die of basic household illnesses. We set funding aside for serious medical intervention.

  • EDUCATION

While the fees for school supplies are often below $20 USD, many families (including our own) cannot afford to send their children to school.

  • LEADERSHIP & EMPOWERMENT

We are developing leaders (both men and women) through values-based leadership training and small-business education.

Read about our dream.

We are working toward human flourishing, believing that every person is worthy of the opportunity to develop and express themselves at their highest capacity.
